Online Water Accounts for Customers to Track Water Usage

With the installation of new water meters each Richmond Water Resources customer now has an online water account that can be used to track water usage. The account shows real time data for water usage. This is helpful to monitor your usage and can also be used to detect leaks if there is usage when there should not be, such as overnight or when you are on vacation.

We mailed information on how to sign up for the accounts with all of the bills that were mailed in October. A copy of the instructions can be found here.

Here is a link to the customer portal that can be used to check your account once it is set up.

Water Conservation Notice Lifted for Richmond Water Resources Department Customers

10/7/25 - Richmond Water Resources has lifted the Water Conservation Notice that was put in place on October 2, 2025. The notice was put in place due to the water tank failing to fully re-fill last Thursday. The well and pump have been performing normally for the past five days, and the tank has been re-filling each evening. Richmond Water Resources Department would like to remind customers that drought conditions persist and general conservation of water is prudent.

Please note, the water conservation notice only applied to customers of the Richmond Water Resources Department (Town Water) and did not apply to private wells.

The Richmond Water Resources department provides you with safe, high-quality water and tertiary wastewater treatment.
