Furr recused himself as he is president of the MMCTV board.
Contis summarized that about four years ago, MMCTV started decorating the windows of the Town Center to make it look haunted. There will be music and volunteers from the new radio station and other nonprofit organizations in the building. It will be between 4-8 PM. When it gets dark, MMCTV turns everything off. Contis confirmed that there are no political or religious positions but more civic minded as last year they projected the word VOTE. The video in the packet demonstrates everything.
Sander moved to approve the request from Mount Mansfield Community Television (MMCTV) to decorate the Town Center building for a display on the evening of Halloween (October 31, 2025) and to play music and hand out candy to trick or treaters in front of the Town Center on Halloween. Hill seconded.
Roll Call Vote: Hill, Sander, Wood in favor. Motion approved.
