Richmond Fire Department Roof Shingles
The Town of Richmond is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the asphalt shingle roof on the Fire Department Building at 357 East Main St
Description of Project
The Fire Department seeks a replacement for the current roof shingles along with an inspection of the underlayment, sheathing, ridge vent, and flashing. This is for the main building roof (100 ft by 40 ft) and not the garage on the west side. The Fire Department will move the Fire Trucks out of the Garage bay when contactors are working on the front/south side of the building.
Scope of Work
• Town of Richmond is seeking to replace the asphalt shingle roof on the Fire Department Building at 357 East Main Street
• Scope of Work includes but is not limited to: Removal and disposal of existing shingles, inspection of the current underlayment and sheathing, repair of underlayment, sheathing, ridge vent, flashing (if necessary), and installation of new 30-year architectural shingles.
• Town of Richmond would like a cost comparison between 2-3 different shingle options.
• Work must be completed before June 25, 2027.
