Huntington Town Clerk Heidi Racht and Richmond Town Clerk Susanne Parent are pleased to offer a Rabies Clinic to our residents and those in other towns, thanks to the generous efforts of Dr. Kerry Lindemuth. Residents of the two towns can also register their dogs at the clinic, as both clerks will be there with big smiles.
DATE: March 28
TIME: 9 am to noon
LOCATION: Huntington Town Hall, located in Huntington Center. It is the second building south of Camels Hump Road on the east side of the Main Road.
COST: rabies vaccination $23 / microchipping $40
Dogs must be leashed; cats must be crated.
Residents of other towns are invited to come to the clinic (only Huntington and Richmond Clerks will be registering dogs for their towns).
Walk-ins will be scheduled between appointments, so please come down.
To get the three-year booster, please bring your pet's current rabies certificate (or, if you are a Huntington or Richmond resident with a previously registered dog, check in with your clerk to get your old certificate).
If you have more than two pets, please sign up for a second slot.
Please do not come into the building if you have tested positive for COVID, but we can make this work for you with enough notice. If you are sick, please wear a mask. We will not be supplying masks, so plan to bring your own.
