Richmond Trails Committee Mtg 8/19/25 Present: Alison Aiken, Mike Donahue, Amy Welch, Trum Rittling and Jean Bressor Non-committee members: Marcie from Local Motion - shared interests - how could Richmond see success in the recommendations in the scoping studies - create a walk/bike group - FPF posting marcie@localmotion.org Welcome new member Amy Welch Public Comment -  Marcie (see above) Approve minutes - approved July minutes Review of recent trailwork on Rivershore trail and discuss remaining trailwork needs - one bridge built and second bridge needs stringers put back on - both bridges need better approaches - with a log and dirt - September Work Day to f inish up this work Discuss plan for mowing for the remainder of this year and next year - Ben had mentioned previously that he would set up a Friends of Richmond Trails group for mowing management Mike looking into string trimmer options and will talk with Cindy at Richmond Home Supply about possibility to order Discuss any other trail work needs - 2-4 volunteers working on Upper Preston loop. Someone cut down a tree across the t rail at Volunteers Green. Discuss OJR trail  - Alison will ask Tyler and Callie - where project is at? And check with Josh and Duncan on where project is at? September work day on Old Jericho Road Trail - make it passable for now Wednesday September 3rd 2025 - Alison will email the committee to check who can make it that evening
