Richmond Trails Committee
Wednesday April 29, 2026
Present: Trum Rittling, Mike Doahue, Amy Welch, Tyler
Merritt, Hannah Harrington and Jean Bressor
Community present: Ellie Churchill, Molly Dugan, Laure,
John Rankin (online)
-Work day on Saturday June 13th for the eastern Rivershore
in memory of Francis Churchill. 10:00 - 12:00.
Will need tools. Lawn mower/weed whacker stored at
Cochran’s. Trum will bring hedge clippers. Jean will bring a
pair of loppers. Hannah will look into wood for bridge
building. Chain saws will be needed. Lots of volunteers to
move lumber. Molly and Hannah will connect about a FPF
post.
-Approved the minutes for February and March
- Hannah will look into the finances, so we will spend doe
money for FY26.
-John Rankin is applying to the Trails Committee. He read
his letter about why he wants to join the committee.
-Fellowship of the Wheel has funding to work on the lower
Preston Loop. Looking to get Richmond Trails Committee
full support of the work. Committee voted to support this
work.
-Amy reported that there is a few adjustments that are
needed on the Jericho Road Trail.
-Next meeting May 19th 2026
