RICHMOND CONSERVATION COMMISSION

Meeting Minutes, Tuesday October 28, 2025

7:30 pm This special meeting was convened because there was not a quorum at the regularly scheduled Oct 14, 2025 meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to vote on the Richmond Mountain Trails (RMT) gear sharing Conservation Reserve Fund application.

Commissioners had brought up concerns about the timing of trail work with reference to the movement of wildlife, like migrating herps (reptiles and amphibians), and concerns about inadvertently spreading harmful introduced weeds. RMT representative Max Krieger agreed that RMT will work with RCC to create this timetable and these stipulations were added to the motion.

Bob Low made the motion and Sam Pratt seconded it. All members of the commission voted in favor of recommending the application be supported by the Selectboard.
