The Bridge St. Waterline Replacement Project has replaced the waterline under Bridge St. from Church St. to Volunteers’ Green.

  • As of December 3, 2021 this project is mostly complete. The waterline is installed and functioning, and most surface restoration work has been completed. The contractor will return in the spring to ensure that all surface restoration is completed.
  • The project will now go on a shutdown for the winter.
  • In the spring, Town officials will conduct a final inspection with the contractor to ensure that restoration of all disturbed surface area is repaired to the Town’s satisfaction. This will include inspection of the roads, curbs, sidewalks, lawns, driveways, and landscaping. If any residents have feedback on areas that they feel need to be addressed please email Town Manager Josh Arneson at jarneson@richmondvt.gov
  • There is a one year warranty on the work which allows for residents to assess the restoration of their property in the spring and summer, after the snow melt and after grass seed will have had a chance to take root. Residents who are not satisfied with the restoration work on their property should email Town Manager Josh Arneson at jarneson@richmondvt.gov and he will notify the contractor and seek to address the concerns.
