US-2 Rehabilitation Project
Richmond - Bolton US Route 2 Rehabilitation
DATE: May 9, 2024
TRAFFIC IMPACT: Traffic Control with one-lane of alternating travel on US Route 2 between Kenyon Road and Lemroy Court between 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Flaggers will be present within various other project work locations. Please follow the posted speed limits.
PROJECT UPDATE: Completed milling on US Route 2 in various locations in preparation for pavement; Reset curb in and around the US Route 2 and Bridge Street/Jericho Road intersection; Adjusted drainage and sewer structures in preparation for final paving.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:
The following is the anticipated work schedule for the week beginning Sunday, May 12, 2023
Sunday through Thursday - 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (nighttime work):
-Weather permitting, begin installing the leveling course of pavement between Kenyon Road and and I-89 Exit 11 southbound On-Ramp.
-After the leveling course is paved and weather permitting, begin installing the wearing course (final) of pavement from Kenyon Road proceeding to Lemroy Court.
-Sidewalk installation within the U.S. Route 2 and Bridge Street/Jericho Road intersection.
